Current TNA wrestler and former WWE start Kurt Angle is facing multiple charges including allegedly harassing a female wrestler.
Last week Angle was allegedly served with restraining order for “protection from abuse” against an unnamed female wrestler. That same day, Angle was spotted following the woman to a local Starbucks, and an arrest took place.
In addition to “harassment and prohibited acts”, Angle also faces charges of “prohibited acts-possession” for being in possession of HGH and “driving while operating privilege is suspended” for driving with a suspended license.

Court records show that Lenny Dykstra, former center fielder for the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
According to petition at U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California that was filed on Tuesday, Dykstra has less than $50,000 in total assets and liabilities ranging between $10 million and $50 million.
In Chapter 11 bankruptcy a company is protected from creditors while it restructures its business, and Dykstra’s filing comes in the wake of some 20 lawsuits filed against him and his activities as a financial entrepreneur. Among those suing is a magazine Dykstra help to launch, The Players Club.
Jonathan Hayes, one of Dykstra’s lawyers, had no comment.

On July 4th, Steve McNair - a former NFL quaterback who played for the Tennessee Titans and an NFL MVP in 2003 - was found dead in his home from multiple gunshot wounds including one to the head. A female, who was tentatively unidentified though was confirmed as not being McNair’s wife, was also found in the home dead. A pistol was found near the bodies.
Statements were later issued including:
Nashville Metro PD spokesman Don Aaron: “When police officers arrived in response to that call, they found two individuals who had been shot to death inside the residence: one female, one male. We now know that the male deceased is Steve McNair. The female deceased has been tentatively identified. We’re working to confirm that and then notify her next of kin.”
Titans owner K.S. “Bud” Adams Jr.: “We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair’s passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing.”
The deceased woman was later identified as Sahel Kazemi.
Nashville PD now believe that McNair and Kazemi “had been in a dating relationship” and recent photos of the pair on vacation have been found.
The investigation appears to be leading toward murder/suicide. McNair’s death has been ruled a Homicide, though Kazemi’s death has yet to be classified pending additional investigation.

Eric Naposki, a former NFL linebacker for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts in the late 1980s, has been charged with one count murder along with ex-girlfriend Nanette Packard McNeal for the 1994 murder of multimillionaire William Francis McLaughlin.
McNeal, who was linked to McLauglin at the time of his death, stood to collect $1 million in life insurance and this montetary gain has long been thought as the motive for McLaughlin’s death. Naposki and McNeal have also long been thought as suspects in the case, but were never charged primarily due to the fact that the 9mm handgun used in the murder was never recovered.
A spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney’s office said that “we feel at this point we have sufficient evidence to prove they were responsible for the death of Mr. McLaughlin,” though they declined to say what that evidence was.

Vince Young, who plays football for the Tennessee Titans, is currently in a copyright dispute over his nickname In-Vince-Able / Invinceable and his initials VY. Turns out, a day after winning the 2006 Rose Bowl, both were trademarked by three astute entrepreneurs - one of which is former Astros baseball player Enos Cabell - and Young wants them back.
Young has filed the lawsuit primarily to get back the two trademarked terms, since Young can not currently use the terms with potential promotional deals including one with Reebok.
The defendants have yet to make any official statement on the lawsuit.
