Former New York Mets Dwight Gooden Arrested for DUI

Dwight Gooden, a former baseball player for the New York Mets, was arrested driving under the influence in Franklin Lakes NJ where he lives.
The 45-year old, who was driving with a child in his car at the time, was arrested after a crash that involved two vehicles Tuesday morning.
A statement released by the police stated that Gooden faces charges including
- endangering the welfare of a child
- driving under the influence of drugs
- DWI with a child passenger
- leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident
- reckless driving
Gooden was later released on his own recognizance.
