In a follow up to yesterday’s story, Adnan Ghalib has turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest on three felony counts including hit and run.
Ghalib was arraigned early February 25th, where he pleaded not guilty to felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery and felony hit and run. His is currently out on $110,000 bail which he posted himself.
Adnan Ghalib Wanted for Hit and Run
A warrant has been issued by the L.A. County District Attorney for the arrest of ex-boyfriend and paparazzi Adnan Ghalib on three felony counts including assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit and run.
The charges stem from accusations by a man who says Ghalib hit him with with his car when he tried to serve Ghalib legal papers on February 11th from Britney Spears.
The unnamed man says that after being hit by the car, Ghalib drove away. Paramedics who were called to the scene treated the victim for a broken wrist.
Prosecutors are currently asking for $110,000 bail once Ghalib is brought in. Should Ghalib be convicted on all counts, he could serve up to seven years in prison.
Barkley Pleads Guilty to DUI
In a follow up to our story about Charles Barkley being arrested for DUI back on December 31st, yesterday Barkley pled guilty in Arizona to two counts of driving under the influence and an additional charge of running a stop sign.
Barkley has been sentenced to ten days behind bars at an yet-to-be-determined Arizona jail. He will only have to serve five days if he completes an alcohol education program. In addition, Barkle will have to pay $2000 in fines.
Gary Collins 1/31 Mugshot
70-year old Gary Collins was arrested on January 31st in Santa Barbara California for a DUI after being pulled over for erratic driving.
Collins is reported to have blown a .29 blood alcohol content level, over four times the limit in California. Collins has been officially charged with a DUI and for driving with a BAC of .08 or higher. There is no word if Collins has a drunk driving charges lawyer or if they will make a statement.
Collins has been previously served jail time for a prior DUI charge.
Luther Campbell, a former member of 2 Live Crew, was arrested in Maimi-Dade County on Tuesday, on charges of contempt of court. Campbell spent less than twenty-four hours behind bars before being released.
Charges come from Campbell owing the courts over $10,000. Originally it was reported that the money was due to missed child support payments, but it is now unclear exactly what Campbell owes the money for.
In a follow up to our story about Suge Knight alleged assault on his girlfriend in Las Vegas, Knight took a plea deal in the Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday.
Knight plead guilty to one count of misdemeanor domestic batter. The guilty admission comes with a $340 fine, forty-eight hours of community service, and he will have to attend domestic violence counseling.
As part of deal, two counts of felony drug possession and a charge of felony coercion were dropped, which the Las Vegas Sun says is partially due to the fact that the prosecutors can not find their main witness.
DMX, currently a ward of Arizona State at Tent City Jail, was thrown in lockdown yesterday. Officials say that DMX threatened to “assault somebody to get some respect” when he didn’t show up for medication and guards went searching for him.
Singer Rihanna has named as the previously unnamed woman who was the victim of a domestic violence attack by boyfriend Chris Brown early Sunday morning.
Police on the scene call the attack “horrific” and that photos taken of Rihanna before she was removed from the scene show “devastating proof of abuse”.
Brown turned himself in later on Sunday, and was released on $50,000 bail. He has a court date set for March 5th.

R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested early Sunday morning after an alleged domestic violence dispute with a woman who has not yet been identified. Police say that Brown and the woman were in a car by Hollywood’s Hancock Park when they became involved in an argument. The argument then escalated as the two exited their car. When police arrived on the scene responding to a 911 call, they found the woman at the scene, but Brown had left. Police say that the woman “suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.”
Brown was picked up later Sunday night, and booked on charges of criminal threats. Brown was later released on $50,000 bail. A court date of March 5th has been set, and the LAPD noted that “at the time the case is presented to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, additional charges may be filed.”
Chad Tulik Mugshot
Chad Tulik, who was a former “contestant” on the Tila Tequila dating show A Shot At Love, has been arrested on domestic violence charges for allegedly beating up his girlfriend.
Tulik was arrested early Friday January 6th after cops were called in by neighbors who reported that a loud argument sounded like it was becoming physical. Cops arrived on the scene and entered the residence to find Tulik’s girlfriend with visible injuries.
Tulik was booked on multiple charges including felony assault, dissuading a witness and vandalism due to the allegation that he smashed his girlfriend’s iPhone when she tried to call the cops.
Tulik is currently being held, with a $50,000 bail.
