“Eight Is Enough” Star Joan Prather Arrested for Felony Hit-and-Run
Last weekend Joan Prather, who starred as Janet McArthur Bradford on “Eight is Enough”, was arrested for felony hit-and-run. Prather was attempting to maneuver past cones and barricades blocking traffic for the Malibu Triathlon when an officer tried to flag her down and got his watch caught in the car. Prather dragged the guy down the Pacific Coast Highway until other officers were able to stop her. There was no other pedestrian injury reported.
Prather was booked by L.A. county officers and later released on $50,000 bail. There is no word if the officer has contacted a car accident attorney for his injuries.
